International Certificate in Logistics and Transport

A free-standing, Level 3 qualification, designed to provide a sound foundation for a career within the transport and supply chain fields and should provide potential supervisors and first-line managers with a complete set of management skills. It is recommended that those undertaking this programme have some prior knowledge of logistics and transport operations; ideally through their own work experience, or through previous CILT International study. The course consists of two mandatory and one optional module. These are assessed through written examination. Most learners complete their studies within a year. The modules offered as part of this qualification can also be offered as stand alone units, giving both learners and employers maximum flexibility. Successful completion of the International Certificate, together with a minimum of 2 years appropriate experience, meets the eligibility criteria for membership upgrade to Chartered Member (CMILT) of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
