International Introductory Certificate in Logistics and Transport

This qualification offers a broad understanding of the principles, applications and concepts of logistics and transport industry. It gives learners the opportunity to focus on an area of specialism to gain introductory knowledge of their professional sector. While it would be beneficial for the candidate to have some working knowledge of the industry, this is not essential. The course consists of four modules; two mandatory and two optional (allowing for learners to specialise in their chosen area). All modules are assessed by written examination, consisting of shortanswer questions. Some educational partners may offer each unit as its own distinct short award with assessment and certification, allowing learners to complete  further units and the full qualification at a time to suit them. The full Introductory Certificate may be delivered as an intensive short course, or a slightly longer part-time offer.
