1. Who We Are

Value Training Center is a logistics and transport training center based at Mathias House, 1st Floor, KN 5 Rd, Remera, Kigali, Rwanda. We are accredited by CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) and are part of the Value Group. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

When you use our enrollment, contact, or inquiry forms, we collect the information you provide, which may include your full name, email address, phone number, the course you are interested in, and the content of your message.

We also collect basic usage information automatically, such as the pages visited, how visitors arrive, and the type of device and browser used, to help us improve the website. This is described in section 7.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, process your course enrollment, communicate with you about courses, schedules, examinations and results, and send you important updates about our services. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

4. Sharing of Information

Your information may be shared with CILT solely for the purpose of registration, examination, and certification related to CILT-accredited qualifications. We may also share information where required by law or by competent authorities in Rwanda.

5. Data Retention and Security

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including academic record-keeping requirements. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to request deletion of your information where we are not legally required to retain it. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused service that counts visits without using cookies, to see which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This information is aggregated.

With your permission, we also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, the type of device and browser used, and the approximate location (city or country level). Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier. These cookies, and Google Analytics itself, are only used if you click Accept on our cookie notice. If you decline, or have not yet chosen, Google Analytics does not run and no analytics cookies are set.

We have switched off Google’s advertising features, so we do not use analytics data for advertising, and we do not combine it with the details you send us through our forms. Information collected by Google Analytics is transferred to and processed by Google, which may store it on servers outside Rwanda. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
